‘Think Fresh. Act Fresh. Make Fresh.’ Plukon Food Group is an innovative player in the European food industry, striving to honour their motto in every endeavour. They are committed to producing healthy and easy-to-prepare food, with attention to both animal welfare and environmental responsibility.
Every industry has its own regulations, but the food industry comes with an extensive list of requirements. The building must remain dust-free, be easy to maintain, and have a highly functional sewage design. We carefully considered and integrated all these aspects in this project.
While every building is designed to be used, buildings in the food industry are essentially working tools. Since Plukon operates in the meat industry, we used much more robust and durable materials — from foundations to impact-resistant floor finishes.
Plukon is a well-established company that continuously challenges itself. It was therefore essential to provide a design that could grow alongside the organisation. The new facility — an extension to an existing building — consists of a cold and a warm zone, connected by intelligent logistics routes to ensure optimal product flow from production to distribution.
